Wild Camping - Etching

A small tonal etching of a wild camping site. The tent opens onto a view of the lake and mountains. The image is made using 5 point perspective where the image curves within the domed format of the circle. For those with a sense of adventure and a love of nature and the great outdoors. The world is so frantic and stressful sometimes that it is important to value moments of peace and silence. 

The image was made using non-toxic copper-sulphate etching onto an aluminium plate. The plate was hand inked and printed on a traditional etching press. It is printed on soft, white somerset paper. The ink was 'Brown-shade-black'  which gives a slight sepia quality to the colour.
It is one of an edition of 100, all handprinted. The colours are also applied by hand before a single run through the press, this method means that there will be a slight variation in each print.

Each print is signed, numbered, and titled by the artist. Please note, your print will not be the same edition number as the photo. 

The image itself is 10cm diameter. It comes mounted in a 8" x 8" mount ready to fit into a standard sized frame. 

Each print is packed with cellophane and archival tissue, has a board backing, is carefully wrapped and posted flat in a stiff cardboard envelope.
