A hand printed etching of a misty path inspired by ramblings through the countryside.
This image was made using non-toxic copper-sulphate etching onto an aluminium plate. The plate was hand inked and printed on a traditional etching press. The ink was applied a la poupée, meaning in different areas on the plate so colours merge as they are fed through the press. This means that there will be slight variations to each print.
It is printed on soft, white somerset paper. It is one of an edition of 50, all handprinted. Each print is signed, numbered, and titled by the artist. Please note, your print will not be the same edition number as the photo.
The image itself is 10 x 10 cm. Each print is packed with cellophane and archival tissue, has a board backing, is carefully wrapped and posted flat in a stiff cardboard envelope.
